This project was a collaborative effort during my employment at Cross Origin, working closely with the wider brand and digital team. After the rebrand - and a last-minute rename from Just Charge to TapCharge - the brand needed a clear, engaging way to reintroduce itself to the world. Working as part of the creative team, the goal was to create a bold launch video that would introduce the new name, communicate the brand’s core proposition, and establish a tone that felt sharp, smart, and energetic.
I took the lead on the creative and production process for the launch film, working closely with the wider team across scripting, storyboarding, animation, editing, and sound. Using the brand’s new identity as a foundation, I helped shape a tone of voice that felt confident and clear — pairing motion design with messaging to introduce TapCharge as a future-facing, frictionless charging solution. The animation style leaned on clarity and structure, with expressive transitions, simple graphic language, and fast-paced sequencing to reflect the product’s speed and ease of use. The final film acted as a launchpad for TapCharge’s updated identity, playing a key role in announcing the rebrand and giving the business a bold, consistent way to tell its story across social, product, and investor channels.
